I just got an Allis Chalmers WD-45 and it needs an oil change. I did a search and it looks like I can use a Fram C-159 oil filter, is this right? Also, what kind of oil and how much should I use? Don't rev it or anything, just run it till it gets in the green on the gauge. Remove valve cover and plugs (plugs removal just makes turning the engine over easy) and repeat. For my D17 IV diesel, seven quart appears to be too much, so I'll go with six quart and check the oil level after running to make sure that is appropriate.
