The RAV4’s suspension is definitely more rigid but tbh I don’t really notice it as much as I thought I would coming from the Camry. Other than the suspension, the steering on the Rav4 is really smooth and it takes corners like a champ.Maybe a little more denser, but the charging system would need to be recalibrated for fit the new battery. The prime battery sits partly below the floor so structurally it's impossible to put it into the hybrid. I'm hoping that in 10 years the prime battery will be a little denser to allow up to 100 mile ranges. 2. r/rav4club. Go with the corrolla. RAV4 Hybrid. It's physically shorter by a couple of inches front to back than the Corolla, which makes maneuvering in the city easier. The suspension will handle bad roads better than the Corolla. It's much quieter and doesn't give much up on MPG to the Corolla. It'll be a much less tiring drive. Rav gets almost twice the gas milage, drives smoother and quieter and has quite a bit more power. Subaru was $8k cheaper for same features and is quite a bit better in the snow/mud. Also in today’s world where is is hard to find cars in stock, there seem to be way more foresters available.

From 480 miles left in the tank to 63 miles left in the tank, I used an estimated 417 Miles worth of gas according to the system. Overall Thoughts? It was impressive that I was able to hit 41 and 43 MPG on each leg of the trip. Considering the RAV4 Hybrid has an estimated 38MPG highway, I'm glad I was able to surpass those estimates. Expect 10-15 years of loyal service. As a few cells in the traction battery stop holding charge your fuel economy will decline significantly. Those few individual cells can be easily replaced with refurbished cells (or the entire pack can be replaced with refurbished cells) and the battery as a whole can keep on going. The 2020 outback has about 2.5k miles on it, so it is almost new. The rav4 is new. APR is also close, 2.9 for the rav4 vs 2.99 for the subaru. The subaru feels more comfortable to drive, but I think that's because it has more fancy trimmings like leather seats and an improved sound system. Drove both back to back, venza was a quieter more lexus like ride but the shape made it feel smaller inside and seemed to have less cargo space, ended up going with a Rav4 hybrid. Plus rav was a bit cheaper. The Venza looks more refined and the RAV4 is a bit rugged looking. From my point of view, the "equivalent" technology packages will bring the total price of the XLE Premium up to $40100 and the XSE $41200 (so roughly a $1000 difference). In my head, the XSE has a nicer interior, the panoramic view would be amazing to have, but TBH I don't care at all about the panoramic sunroof.The Rav4 is a decent car but it's overpriced by about $5k. It has one thing going for it: it's a Toyota, which means it'll probably last a while. If that's the most important thing to you, buy the Rav4. But other than that, it's a worse value than almost every one of its competitors (particularly the CX-5, CR-V, Tucson, and Rogue).Lower center of gravity which results in better handling. A Camry and Rav4 are two very different things. If you're looking for something with more space and storage then the obvious choice is the Rav4. If you want a car, then go with the Camry.
