Appreciate any info. on this 37 12 ga. High 90's condition and serial number dates it to 1970. 28" VR mod barrel. I know very,very little about Ithaca's and haven't been successful in searching the web. I'm told there are different grades and because of the stunning wood, I am anticipating this is something higher that the standard field grade.816. I would get the barrel cut, and set up for the choke tubes. I did it to my 37. Big difference. I think mine only cost about $100, including the 3 tubes.
