The top screws are easy to get to. MAGNETIC HEAD PREFERRED. My screwdriver sticks to the screws pretty good, but I still lost one of the screws. It's somewhere down there, I am not going to start tearing it apart for 1 screw. PROCEDURE: Carefully remove the 4 screws holding the VESS black box.

Yes, I know its there for safety reasons. So, pop the hood and open the fuse box on your right. Halfway down, second fuse from the right is the VESS 10 amp fuse (look on the back of the fuse box lid). Use the provided fuse puller and remove and save that fuse.

Remove the plastic "shield" on the far-right (when looking through the grille) that covers the wires as they terminate into the connector harness. 2. Modify VESS, not disable just change the sound.
