I see better uniformity in the patterns and more consistent crimps with good old Red Dot than with the CB0178-12L. It's also easier to pick up and stuff in the wad guide increasing production speed.

I was thinking of reducing powder drop on the Alliant Extra-Lite recipe, but given the low pressure results for the 1,150 f/s published load, I think I will be risking squib loads with Extra-Lite trying to get to 1,000 f/s territory. Does anyone have a suggestion for an alternative recipe using Gun Club hulls and CB0178-12 wads?
