My son has lived with me the past three years with his son and daughter. My son helps a lot with taking care of the house and doing errands for me. I feel he has invested a lot into the house labor wise. I decided to offer to sell it to him at a good deal. This has nothing to do with that though. You are within your rights to keep the money and get rid of all his possessions. You’re also not even remotely obligated to be the bigger person and set things right. Even if you choose to keep all the money and sell the house, you’re still not exactly an asshole for doing so. However, selling his ps5 is just going to cause major stress and tension and not really settle anything. The better option would have been to ask for a talk and have a calm, honest conversation with him about your feelings and your need as a parent.
