Prodigys in my area have been going for 1350, which is at least 8-900 cheaper than the cheapest staccato. My suggestion is if you won't die from spending the extra $, then save up for a staccato. Only thing I didn’t like about Houtlaw review is he used the Staccato mag in majority of the review. Most people won’t buy the prodigy if they own Staccatos. Stock mags seem to be one of the problems with the prodigy. I held and racked a prodigy in my local FFL and I thought it was smooth felt good in the hand.
