Depends on when you buy/sell. For example buying eurusd pair at 5pm eastern time my spreads are like 5 bps but when the London/US markets are open 2-8am eastern the spread is under 2 bps. I still prefer spread over commission. The spreads vary based on how busy the market is and the time of day.
