0. Aug 24, 2014. 0. I have a 1999 kw t800. The fan motor for the a/c runs for around 2 min then shuts off. Then comes back on in 1 minute. I've replaced the circuit breaker in the fuse panel. It fixed the problem for day. It's back to doing the same thing now. Jun 13, 2019. #1. Got a weird one. Kenworth T800. Just about all components replaced including motor. Good ground at the motor. 25 amp breaker replace with a 30 amp. It runs for an hour or two then pops the breaker. Motor stops then starts for a few seconds and then the breaker pops. Wondering if someone has run into this before.Looking up your S/N, your truck has a DDECIV 430/500 from factory. The fan is controlled by the ECM. The ECM controls the low side (ground) of the engine fan relay to cycle the fan as needed.
