I have an intermittent starting problem with my 1994 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500. It cranks, but no spark. Have checked battery, have checked spark plugs, wire connections, turned kill switch on and off, ignition switch on and off. Have all lights and cranks over fine. Happens hot or cold.

We changed the starter, gear torque and one way last year, my celenoid was shorting last year while riding and screed everything up.Starting Problem. My Kawasaki 900 Vulcan won't start. The battery is only 1 year old and gives a reading of 12.89 volts across the terminals. I have charged it repeatedly. With the switch off, there is only 0.02 mA current across the terminals which I assume is due to the running of the clock and other internal electrical settings.On the pump harness, connect black and black/yellow together and put to 12v. 2. Connect green to ground. 3. Pump should run. Be sure and disconnect pump connector from main harness before doing this. I have a 99 1500 Vulcan Classic, it has been sitting in the garage for about two months. I attempted to start it a couple days ago, turned on the switch and got no power to anything at all, starter, lights horn. I removed the seat and checked all the fuses, all good, battery fully charged. I pulled the tank and cheked all connections, all good.
