Benelli 828U or Beretta Silver Pigeon. I'm looking to add a good Over under to my shotgun stable (SBE II, Beretta A400, Beretta 390) and the above two OU are the ones that I'm debating between. I'm looking for a upland gun in 12 gauge. I use a Benelli SBE I for all my hunting and wouldn't trade it for anything. For sporting clays I use a Beretta 686 White Onyx and wouldn't trade that for anything as well. I haven't taken the Beretta out hunting, though, too nice of a gun to get the wood scratched and dented.Beretta Mobilchokes will interchange with Benelli's standard flush chokes. As far as I know all of the semis made by both companies have the Optima-choke style barrels and chokes. Benelli calls it something goofy Cryo-something-or-other but it's exactly the same as Beretta's. Chokes will interchange and everything. It's a fantastic system.

I've got to agree with Randy and Cheapo. In my opinion, while the Affinity is a good gun, the Benelli M2 is a better gun. The stock on the Affinity feels like cheap plastic to me. Benelli has bombproof reliability and has extensive use and has been tested by many agencies around the globe. Beretta 1301 is real handy and light, a few quirks that are easy fixes. It's a hard choice but I eventually went with a 1301. I do plan on getting the 14" model benelli when funds allow though.
