As the title says I'm about to start my first, blind playthrough of Solasta and was wondering which difficulty to choose. I'm no stranger to cRPGs and I typically play them on the highest difficulty setting unless it's Perma-Death or so absurd that it's not much fun (Pathfinder: Kingmaker's Unfair difficulty, Hard was perfect for me though).

Pathfinder Kingmaker is a lot like that. Pathfinder Kingmaker and the upcoming Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous would be the closest imo, though mechanically character creation is a lot more complex (and customizable) than Solasta's 5e. 1 Cleric. Cleric is easily the best class in the game. Solasta has a limited selection of classes compared to most CRPGs, and this means there is a limited selection of healers.
