Kotor twist.

Kotor 1 has you searching for a superweapon, because that trope is totally not overused in star wars. The plot twist was clever but not all stories require mind shattering twists. Kotor 2 basically explores the post apocalypse for the republic and jedi which was never done before and since. Companions are more interesting.I think so. The spoiler, while significant for your first playthrough, is something everyone that replays the game already knows. The game is just that good, even when knowing the twist. Not really a twist honestly. There really isn't a twist to KOTOR 2 and the game even addresses people expecting a twist. Man KOTOR 2 was such a cool game.

The combat, at least to a veteran player like myself, isn't terrible. It isn't the best system in the world, but I like it due to how all the systems interact.
