I have several 9mm and 45 Kimbers. Those seem to run fine. stockmaker. I think you need to watch out for Idiot Scratches to the frame as they will show more than other 1911's. You also have to watch the area aft of the ejection port for brass/copper marks, which can be removed with Hoppe's #9.
