Jan 29, 2024 · I did assign the chief medical dwarf a doctor slot, but according to the wiki doctors won't do anything unless a patient gets diagnosed first, and it doesn't look like I can assign a single dwarf to multiple roles in the hospital. Was kinda hoping the CMD would just default to doing any jobs needed but it doesn't appear to work that way.

At the start of my new fortress some dwarves got injured in a cave-in and I assigned them quickly to beds and a hospital zone in the middle of a hallway. I eventually built an actual hospital with the necessary tools near them, but I can't make my dwarves move them at all.
