I think Netgear is pushing these LEDs to hard. A user on DSL reports said that even his Motorola modem had a light burn out on it. If I knew the specs of the LED they used I could replace it. I triggered a scenario where the modem went into one channel locked. The amber LED works fine. I have uploaded a picture of the problem.
