I thought I lost my mucous plug a couple weeks ago because it was a thick quarter sized gelatin (no blood) ... I didn't lose my mucus plug with dd until I was 41 weeks and had a membrane sweep. But I was already dilated to 2 cm and went to a 3 after the sweep. I had dd about 18 hours after that!
