About two years ago I bought a 10mm Kimber Custom II GFO for my woods carry pistol. It shot well, for me, but had a terrible problem with FTFs (failure to feed). I tweaked the extractor tension down and that mostly eliminated the problem, but it still occasionally occurred. Took it to my 1911 smith.

I have shot one of the Stacatto Ps in 9mm and it choked a few times on 124g, but ran spicy 115 like a raped ape. My KHX has been incredibly smooth. Not a single hiccup in about 800 rounds so far.Most people who are having reliability issues with a 1911 are having an issue with magazines.
