It's a larger mod but some swear by it. Might be worth a try if you haven't used it yet. (I run it but I'm on the Xbox Series X). The game since day one has always struggled with crashes around Boston. Newer PCs and the Xbox Series X can handle it much better. But the S and older consoles will always struggle.

It basically broke several mods, caused a lot of issues and once gone crashing was actually reduced by a lot.
