How to stop engine idle shutdown on freightliner.
1) Hit the brake, clutch, or accelerator when your dashboard warning light goes on just before shutdown. 2) Hit the brake and the accelerator at the same time just after you start idling. I've heard this does the trick and you can idle forever. I haven't tried this yet because my truck has been in the shop since I heard about this.

3. If you leave the ignition key on, the QC will not shut off. If the engine is off and you turn the key on, the QC will come on, but once the key is off it shuts off after about 10 minutes. If you start the truck, then shut the truck off after the QC has booted, it will shut off after 3 hours. Hope this helps.
