Your best bet would be to weigh your rifle as it sits right now, then start researching scopes and mounts. Honestly, it will be hard to get a LPVO setup under 16oz, outside of the lighter Leupolds. But if you want 30mm tube (durability), illumination, and QD functionality, you're looking closer 20oz-25oz, or even more.

There's not really much for lightweight 1-6× lpvo's in that price range. If you go down to a 1-4× the Vortex Viper PST 1-4× is fairly lightweight and pretty decent glass at around $300 new. Burris RT6 is 17.4oz. and probably the lightest 1-6x I own. Heavier than my leupold, but that is 1.5-4x.
