Ilvl for mythics.

I'm genuinely interested in the idea that 370 is fine for +10s. I've always had the belief that your gear should at least be within 10-15 ilvl of what the dungeon drops. Which in this case is 377-382. People don't seem to live well enough in my cases when they are at a 20 ilvl disadvantage. Reply. That said, your ilvl is low. Not too low to do mythics if you can get into a premade or static group, but low enough that getting into pug groups will be even harder than normal. Keep grinding out those reps to revered, run heroics for the wf/tf chances, and consider buying one of the cheap darkmoon decks to get a fast ilvl boost.

With a higher max ilvl, it makes everyone closer to a level playing field and makes things feel fresh while extending the gearing process. Just a reminder that this season, it was only 17s and higher granted updates over 426 or whatever it was, now even 10s are worth doing sort of for an ilvl upgrade, even if you got to farm it later from 17s ...

LFR is 170 so I would say maybe 165-170 is good to start mythic dungeons. People were doing mythics on 170ilvl at the start of the expansion. Your ilvl isn't 2 low it's just the current players not willing to drag a low ilvl through a mythic cause they want them to be fast clears. Do korthia and get some 200+ ilvl pieces and then run mythics.
