There are starting classes that have move 5 and heal 4 on non-loss cards, going up 1 on each value does not warrant a loss. Obviously the Tinkerer has more cards, so more flexibility to use losses, but he also has some actual good loss cards, so better to count on those as being the losses we'll play.

Somewhat new to Gloomhaven and have been enjoying it so far. I am starting a secondary party with a friend and our current composition is Tinker (me) and Cragheart. I did a little skimming of the Class Guide and posts and there seems to be a consensus that Tinker is really bad for anything not 4p.
