37s vs 35s. I have a 2016 F-250 with a Carli 2.5 leveling kit on 37/12.50/20 on stock lariat rims. I am starting to tow more often and how like a little more mpg back and power in 6th gear. I am thinking about downsizing to a 295/65/20. My OEM tires were 57lbs a piece. Will I notice a large enough difference to justify the downsize.I have a 2019 F250 with a basic 2.5" Carli Back Country setup and BDS radius arms. Still have the stock 20" Lariat Sport wheels and tires. I leaning towards eventually doing 17's with 37's as recommend by most suspension companies. so, if your new wheels are factory offset, you’re good. If they’re not, be careful, and ignore everyone. Fair points - 2020 F350 CC with 3” rake. The wheels are Method 305’s with +18 offset and 37” Ridge Grapplers. I over analyzed getting a Carli commuter vs Readylift spring lift, and finally decided on the Carli.

Nov 25, 2020 · Maybe. Most 12.50 tires are designed for 8.5" width rims at minimum. 9-10" is recommended. Stock wheels are 8 inches wide. There aren't too many 12.50s that will fit 8" rims based on factory documentation. The Toyo R/T and M/Ts, for example, require an 8.5 minimum. The A/T III will do fine with a spec of 8" minimum. It's almolst time for new tires. I'm going larger, the question is how large. I know 35's will fit fine on my 08 diesel. But I am not sure about 37's. My measuring of the distance between my stock tires and the fender wells at turn (when the edge of the tire is closest to the fender/bumper) gives me 3 7/8". I run Falken wildpeak 37x12.5x18 and they are E rated and have a load rating of 3970lbs where the 37x12.5x17 is D rated and only 3525lbs. Yes, you'll need to move up to about a 4.30 gear to have the same drivability. I have a 2017 F250 6.2L 3.73 with the 275/70r18 tires. Those tires are basically 33's and it does just fine, but you would definitely want a steeper gear with 37's.
