Just solved this issue on a 2007 Pilot - D3 and D light on and blinking - engine light on - (would not shift into 4th) - mechanic changed out the transmission range sensor located near the fill tube. When I shut-off the engine then re-start it, blinking D and check engine light went away. Now, when car is in DRIVE, transmission shifting is sluggish and sometimes there is thud sound when shifting at 20~30km/hr.2013 check engine light flashing & traction control.
