The only true Quality (even STR and SKL) weapons in Bloodborne is Ludwig's Holy Blade and the Stake Driver. Most other weapons will favor one or the other in a 50/25 split. We don't know your stats, but feel free to get to 25/25 and then experiment with everything you can. All weapons can be used to beat the game.

If you go 50 in both stats, you can use pure skill weapons and bloodtinge weapons. Bloodtinge in particular needs lots of investment to shine. Be careful of overleveling if you care about matchmaking range.
