The Gathering Storm. My first ever Sanderson book and still one of my favorites. That Sean Chan White Tower battle is probably my all time favorite battles in a book. The Way of Kings. The first book in my favorite series but i don't think its quite as good as the rest of the series. A Memory of Light.No problem! I appreciate just hearing your favorite books as well. East of Eden is such an amazing novel. If you enjoyed it, you should check out 100 Years of Solitude. It's similar in that it follows a family through their history. It's a great book -- not in my top 10, but definitely in my top 50 of all-time.
Lately I've had a hard time finding a good scary book to read. I read all of Stephen King (Salem's Lot) and Dean Koontz (Phantoms) books. Peter Straub (Ghost), Dan Simmons (Summer of Night) they're okay but not some of my favorite. I decided to give other horror authors a chance and found a few I actually enjoyed. He said his favorite novel was In Search of Lost Time.
