Im installing new head gasket and was wondering if anyone knew the torque specs and tighting pattern. If anyone has the torque spec or have a owners manual and can make a copy and email it to me that would be sooooooooo great.

My 1986 Mercury 150 XR2 Black Max cranks up and runs but when I put in the water it will not go the engine will die. I checked the fire and 3 cylinders are not firing. Cold starting, 1 pump the primer bulb up firm, about a moderate as a handshake. 2 raise the fast idle lever half to two thirds way up. 3 turn the key ON, push 'IN' the choke and hold it in while you turn to crank the motor. 4 choke and crank just til it fires, releasing the starter and choke together.

Top says WH A, middle WH B and bottom WH A ?? The block numer says it is a 150 hp Block, identical with XR2. The flywhell cover says 150 HP. The reed blocks are vertical mounted.3,270. Was on the lake yesterday and coming up on plain running perfect it just bogged to a stop and continued to idle but I could hear a miss in the engine.
