The CDP went through a few minor changes prior to the Series II guns. The primary thing I think was they reduced the amount of the carry melt treatment a little. The basic difference between Series II and pre-series II (like yours) is the Series II guns have a Swartz firing pin safety. I have a Pro CDP as well as an Ultra Raptor and Ill be darned if I feel the Ultra shoots better than the Pro. I am sure someone else would problably shoot the Pro better than the Ultra. It does not matter all that much really, they both shoot very, very, well. I carry them both. Some times you feel like a nut and sometimes you dont.:biglaugh:
