Factorio there is no spoon.
The no-spoon extra research that's worth it is: SMG, turrets, modular armor, construction bots, fast inserters, steel axe, walls, energy distribution 1. Probably some others are useful but those are the ones that I'd definitely get even though they aren't requirements.

I have just done a no spoon run and It’s hard to put numbers on things.Just checked my old No Spoon save. I made the resource patches as large/frequent/rich as possible, and made the biters as easy as possible (they still have to be on though). Then I just used the standard SPM ratios (5 red/6 green/etc for 45 spm at level 2 assemblers), and only researched technologies that directly helped launch the rocket.

The first two hours is the most important to get right. Keep multiple saves. (Spoon-1, Spoon-2, etc.) at regular time intervals so you can backtrack if things go sideways. Huge starting area (I didn't realize this), rich large resources. I also prefer a desert starting area. Chopping trees costs time. Playthrough like I was going for there is no spoon, but don't worry about missing. Don't remove anything, just go. No reworking with new tech, even the original burners are still there. Go back through and hand optimize things, but using only things in nearby sections (I.E. if surrounding area has red belts , only use red belts.)

Third time I found a map with less trees (actually almost no trees), and normal biters. Things were going swell until I suddenly faced an angry biter mob. They kept coming and it became clear that it was a lost cause. Had a pollution cloud stretching far outside my visible area, so no wonder they were a bit mad. And then, the finale.
