Each dog is different on the time it takes as it depends on ear leather thickness and crop style. Ears of thicker leather take longer as can longer crops. Show crops, especially long show crops tend to take the longest as there is very little bell for support. I posted one of my dogs until he was 7 months and he was done way before that.

Seeing that i would leave it alone unless you get a response from someone's whose' vet is successful with that type. The floppy ear is not to hard to fix.
