My first Canik, the Mete SFX. I was watching some reviews of this gun and wanted another long barrel gun to add to my Glock 34.3 and Walther Compact 5", both great guns. So I picked one up, I am very impressed with the quality and all the stuff that comes in the case. storkman77 • 24 days ago. The METE SF would be the closest in size to your G19. The frames on the METE SF, SFT and SFX should be the same, only differences being slide/barrel length. The SFT is right between the SF and SFX, size wise. Out of the options presented, I would recommend the METE SFX for a "range" gun.It's really the best factory trigger in striker-fired guns I've ever experienced. I know the Freedomsmith trigger gets very high marks from people who have installed it on regular Caniks. That's kind of a two fold answer. I have a 1 on my SFX and a 7a on my edc. I prefer the switches on the 1 for ease of use but the compact 7a so I don't have a light on my wiener all day while carrying. I use the SFX as a home defense pistol only so I don't have to worry about that. I don't think you can pick a bad Streamlight though.
