I played with the 40k precons and found the games were just too long. Cards were very new and had many many words on them. Nobody knew what other cards did so attacking and blocking was a little more difficult. Lots of board wipes as 3 of the 40k decks have black. The only negative being the secondary market is heavily marking these decks up. My local LGS sells these for $80, which is too much for a single precon magic deck, in my opinion. Managed to pre order a case of all four decks for $220 from my LGS. Seems like $70-80 for each isn’t uncommon now which is crazy.

Hello, looking for some 40k Ruinous power and precons in general explanation Hello me and my friend started to play commander with only pre cons (we all wanted quite similar decks in terms of power) many of them play the doctor who pre cons, I ve decided to play the Warhammer 40k Ruinous power, but it's seems infinitely weaker then theirs.

Right, except all the posts above have the precons as "good" compared to other precpns, which they are, as average card quality is much better. Yeah and out of the box precons are still trash. 40k precons are better but still really weak compared to a player built deck.
